Once upon a time, there was a flamingo called Lola. She lived with her friends in the middle of Laguna Colorada. She loved her big, colourful home. One day, while looking at the llamas on the shore, she decided to go on a short holiday to taste new foods in a new lake. She decided she wanted to go to Laguna Verde or maybe Laguna Blanco. They were both in Bolivia, on the border with another country called Chile. She told her friend, Bob, her plans and Bob asked if he could come too.
So, on a Monday morning, the two flamingos set off on a wonderful adventure. First flapping their wings, then walking on water, and then flying!
Once they arrived at the Laguna Verde, they started fishing out the plankton with their long, slim beaks. They admired how green and colourful the laguna was and how the plankton tasted differently from the one they had at home. The laguna looked strange because they have never been in a green lake before. When little llama came along, Lola and Bob asked if she wanted to play but little llama couldn't swim so Lola and Bob had to go on dry land.
At first, they played 'who can fly the longest' but little llama wasn't very good at it, and every time she tried to take flight, she fell face down on the ground. Then they played chase but Lola and Bob weren't very good at it.
At last saying goodbye to little llama and greeting her, they flapped their way back home. 'What a lovely day we had!', said Lola just before they dropped off to sleep.
The end!
This is a very nice story. And we where wondering of “our” Bob the beast 🚐 💨 inspired for the character Bob in this story!?
